Autumn is a roegadyn woman who's always ready to help those in need. She has a kind demeanor and enjoys hearing the stories of others as well as sharing her own. This doesn't mean she will let people walk on her however, as a trained adventurer her bow is always close by. Her kindness fades when fighting begins and warm words quickly become vicious mockery. In her mind, there is no honor in a real battle.

History

Autumn Nettle was born in Eastern Thanalan to Amber Thorn, a hellsguard weaver, and Guldmoen Blaetahlsyn, a Sea Wolf goldsmith. Her parents were passionate anti-monetarists, her mother especially as a refuge of Gyr Abania, and attended rallies calling out their hypocrisy and greed. Unfortunately, this lead to their disappearance when Autumn was young.From that point on the young roegadyn lived with Granite Spire, her maternal Grandfather and botanist by trade who lost his wife when he and his daughter fled the Garleans, and her step-Grandmother Estelle Chastain, an elezen woman and Sharlayan colony deserter who now worked for the Order of Nald Thal. Her Grandfather taught her about nature and how to harness it's properties while maintaining growth, while her Grandmother taught her how to read the stars and fates. Being so close to the Black Shroud lead to a curiosity in Autumn to explore the world around her and soon she travelled to Gridania to train as a bard. She worked as an adventurer for a few years, travelling through Thanalan, Vylbrand and the Shroud until Baelsar's Wall fell.Motivated by her parent's rebellion and her own family's heritage, Autumn joined the Ala Mhigan Resistance. It would be her first time in her mother's homeland and it would break her down to her very core. Afterwards, she left a changed and injured woman but had no regrets for what she had accomplished. She stayed with her grandparents while she recovered before making her way to Limsa Lominsa.Cooking had always been a passion for her. It was the one thing she could count on after a long day of work to relax and lift her spirits. Autumn needed a break from adventuring, from sleeping on the ground and wondering when she'd make her next gil. The Culinarian's Guild provided stability and the creativity she craved. And this is where she met Esmond Mounceaus, her friend and future husband.Esmond planned to return to Ishgard and reclaim his house and title, his family having been exiled on false claims of heresy. He asked that she come with him as the house's cook and after two years in Limsa Autumn was in need of a new adventure. She was also deeply in love with the man so she had no hesitation in her acceptance. They stayed with family at first until they had enough of a foothold to start restoring the old estate. During that time Autumn joined the Fury's Gaze, a free company that would allow her to feed her adventurous spirit which helped her acclimate to her new surroundings and home. She also finally confessed her feelings to Esmond and, after a period of courtship and receiving his great-uncle Lucien's blessing, the two were married in a private Halonic ceremony. As the Telopheroi's towers began to appear, Autumn found another calling. With the help of Lucien she became an astrologian and began helping at the Crescent Hymn Clinic, now Hospital.The Final Days would be a true test of their relationship as it was discovered Autumn was pregnant a month prior. But her anxieties from Rhalgr's Reach pushed her to pull strings as a bard and healer to be in the Ilsabard Contingent to keep an eye on her husband and his Temple Knight unit. This was very short lived, as once her pregnancy was revealed she was sent home. Instead she would find herself in Thavnair as the End of Days began with other members of the Gaze and her long time friend Ciel Belgrave. Her ability to use bard song to keep those around her calm became a boon to the group and some of the locals.Now safely home in snowy Coerthas, Autumn and Esmond have welcomed triplets Marinfort, Corentinaux, and Coralie. Granite Spire and Estelle have also joined them at the manor, and just before the children were born Autumn was reunited with her parents who have also been living with them since.

She has an aversion to Garleans but is willing to hear out dissenters.Chef: Autumn is a trained chef, having collected recipes from Thanalan, The Black Shroud, La Noscea, Coerthas and Gyr Abania. She's always looking to expand her arsenal, especially with recipes from Doma, Thavnair, and Ilsabard.
